Why a Day Of Service?

Citizens of America in all of the states give food to friends, collect clothes and food, and refurbish schools to honor Martin Luther King. You can help by simply raking the lawn or doing the dishes! Martin believed that everyone can work, so we do service specificely on this day. Martin did service by volenteering in homeless shelters and stuff like that.

What I did for service yesterday was that I cooked dinner for my family so that my mom wouldn’t have to worry about it. I cooked spaghetii and meat sauce. Mom said I did a good job and she really appreciated it. My brother and dad said that it was delicious.
